Yamaha World Supersport Team
L'equip Yamaha World Supersport és l'equip oficial Yamaha en aquesta cilindrada. Els seus pilots són Cal Crutchlow i el francés Fabien Foret. Actualment estan realitzant una campanya excepcional: 1era posició provisional per l'anglès Cal; i 5ena per Foret.
L'equip utilitza la nova generació de cúpules PUIG: Z-Racing. Són cúpules d'aspecte agressiu amb formes no conegudes abans en una cúpula. Els resultats del Túnel del Vent Virtual apunten a un augment de la protecció d'un 12% sense perdre Cx.
